FULL MOON in VIRGO: Mar 1, 2018 @ 7:52pm EST at 11 degrees

With four+ planets in Virgo’s polarized counterpart Pisces, this full moon is bringing in some much-needed processing time. Earth energy is vital in drawing us back to what is pure and essential, especially after drifting through the dreamy Piscean ocean as of late. It’s time to embody and integrate the emotional intelligence we’ve been uploading through the last few months of eclipses. Servitude over suffering is the highlighted antidote for aligning with today’s lunar energies.

Wholehearted devotion is the culminating force pulling us toward today’s full moon. Devotion to getting real about how/where/what/why we are denying ourselves and embracing the practical realities we exist in. Firstly, we must choose to accept Truth beyond ego perception. And, with all this Pisces energy we’ve likely been swept up in feelings of deep compassion for the suffering of the world while tuning in to our personal memories of pain and loss.

Mercury, the ruling planet of this lunation, is in Pisces conjunct Venus where our thoughts tend toward communion with the Ultimate Reality, or Brahma. Love at all costs is the touchstone merging the head and the heart, making this a highly sacrificial moon. Virgo is all about purifying and letting go of mental clinging to that which lingers in the realm of illusion and ultimately leading us towards those daily tasks that provide sustenance for a healthy vital experience. Presence is the optimal Virgo Medicine.

Saturn is also in the mix forming a sextile to the Sun and a trine to the Moon. These aspects bring a sense of commitment to both the dream and the process of attaining that dream. Saturn is the task master and Virgo manages those tasks. Whatsoever we are willing to contribute to building is leading us to that ideal reality. We pass through confusion and uncertainty when we apply practical application to what is currently. Staying attuned and devoted to presence means we are engaging completely with our full focus on this moment. Surrendering our past and future dreams to the wisdom of Now.

Since this lunation was born out of an Aquarius eclipse the chances of it impacting the whole are much greater. As humans, we are naturally inclined to activate our unique brilliance as a form of servitude to the collective.

The Virgo/Pisces axis is linked to the integration of spirit (purusha) and matter (prakriti). We are spirit moving through time or Kala Purusha and through time we spiritually learn to live in harmony with the laws of matter and to ebb and flow with the changing tides of our experience.

As we become a living prayer of gratitude our lives become a ritual of fulfillment in alignment with the dream of Life Divine
