Whose heart has bursted open this week? And, what treasures have you found there?
Leading up to yesterdays new moon was like an explosion of the heart! I felt an expansive burst of LOVE spring forth as I surrendered the ego’s need to re-create the old stories of relationships, self-worth, or need for validation. Instead, a new drama was birthed and sang “Be Bold”, “Be Brave”, “Be a Hero Unto Yourself.” I am no longer willing to live a lie. The lie of an ancient story that has diseased my mind, because of a childhood wound or a need to please. I will listen to the purity of my heart and love my experiences as teachers who have formed the woman I am today. I choose to honor myself and my special gifts in abiding presence and deep compassion. Yours truly…
In yoga there are two heart centers, the heart itself or Anahata Chakra and the heart of intuition called Ajna Chakra. When these two centers are linked we experience communion. The Vishuddha Chakra or throat (responsible for balancing the mind or chitta – the incessant chattering) resides between the two and when balanced is the pure expression of our soul.
This is a time of remembering to value ourselves, our tender hearts and our experiences in a new way. The opportunity to surrender the old play of stories is greater now than ever. With Uranus trine the Sun/moon we are given an extra boost of freedom power to identify differently with our creations and how we express ourselves. LISTENING TO OUR HEARTS is a compass for navigating the elements and assisting with focus and direction. Recognizing our contribution and showing up is what’s being called forth.
Retrograde Venus conjunct the Sun/moon is a blessing from the Divine Mother and an activation of our hearts natural inclination – to be courageous, compassion, and pure in all ways. She awaits our arrival at the gate of sacred fire where we leave our ego drives behind and choose to burn away disillusionment, memories, beliefs that have been reaping havoc in the subconscious. It may feel precarious to let this aspect of ego go, but as we surrender to the security and sanctity of her arms we begin to trust in her womb of knowing. The Divine Mother is the greatest ally to our ego. She will guide us always to the heart of truth.
Oh Brave Heart: give yourself credit by honoring all you do. Self validation can be quite potent in satiating the Leo’s need for recognition. You are brilliant. So claim it. Become your hearts desire.
