Everything we need to know about ourselves and life is encoded in nature, in our bodies and in the cosmos. In esoteric kriya yoga we recognize the changes of the seasons (as they correspond to the solstices and equinoxes) as movements and energy flow up and down the chakric tree of life (symbolic of the six primary states of consciousness). The movement of the Sun from the sign of Pisces (the quality of water and fluidity) to Aries (the element of fire and activation) is the movement from the sacral to the solar plexus chakra. It also marks the first day of spring.
The Spring Equinox is a point in the annual celestial calendar representing the restoration of equality, balance, and harmony. When the Earth’s equator passes through the sun center and day and night are equal. This cosmic projection of harmony provides an opportunity to bring anything out of alignment back into balance. Life and nature seek balance and spring is a time of harmonizing our inner and outer lives. Refining our perception of who we are
