* MUSING * written by Elaina Jul 2018
We cast aside our prayers
For the nakedness of now
Purity accepts innocence
Like this passage of air
Contracting our lungs
Stripped of memories
That beckon us to bow
Parameters of a past time
A collection of mythos
Beholding the wisdom
To tend the flame
And not be branded
Can we be with truth,
and still, let go?
Can the web of tales told
advise without consuming us?
To be untethered
and still feel safe?
Will the allurement of our senses
repeatedly magnetize?
Or can we absolve the resonant field
by pulsing a new vibration?
Are we trapped?
Or, can we truly choose?
Will the alleged free will of humanity
stop demanding but rather claim?
Oh the questions that arise
In the tracking of my mind…
